The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed in regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support position made for intervention encounters a high inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to enable the servicing of all buyers SRD and enhance access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
